The Mission of Newport Community Church: To make dedicated followers of Jesus who are equipped for building-up the church in love through employing their spiritual gifts in serving one another (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 4:10).

Our Vision : To see the formation of a mature and steadfast church, united in the faith and knowledge of Jesus, to which God is adding continually those who are being saved (Ephesians 4:11-16; Acts 2:46-47).

Our Core Values: Self-devotion to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to communion, and to prayer (Acts 2:42).


Newport Community Church was founded by a small group of families and friends living on Aquidneck Island who desired a local Christian church committed to exalting God's Word (Psalm 138:2).

Our logo, drawn from Psalm 119:114 provides a visual reminder that God Himself shields believers while His Word provides a present and future hope.
